Hi all!
We are going on Grandeur of the Seas in March.
We have seen several pics of ship and it seems to be pretty nice.
What is the rule about bringing on bottled water, soda's and beer in your luggage?
We have heard and read several different things.
Anything we should know in advance to make the best of our first cruise experience?
Also any thoughts of what to do in Grand Cayman, Cozumel or Progresso?
We are looking at a couple of excursions like snorkeling, stingray, the usual, but if there are any "HAVE TO GO TO" stops you know of, that would be great!

Thanks a bunch!!

You can bring drinks, water, juices, etc. onboard. I am not sure about alcoholic beverages. Beer is also allowed. I believe there are restrictions on wine. As a first timer, I would suggest that you allow yourself enough "downtime." There are so many activities, games, shows you will want to go to, but be careful because you can leave the ship feeling frazzled at the end because you stayed too busy. In Grand Cayman, if you are interest in snorkeling on your own, turn right when you get off the tender and go down to Eden rock. They rent equipment and the snorkeling is beautiful there. I hear Stingray City is wonderful also. Shopping is a good thing to do in Cozumel. The snuba and beginner scuba experience there is very good. For more tips to make your trip easier, see my post on this website under community bulletin board. Happy sailing!

Don't try to do it ALL. At least not for the 1st time. Have fun that's the best advice. Enjoy. You are going to love it. Kat
