We were on the Dream 11/15, her lst voyage from NYC after the TA and CTN. I have never been on a ship "that big" but had absolutely no problem figuring out what was where. The only "problem" we had was that we were in a corner aft balcony cabin and if we took the elevator to our deck on the other side of the ship it was a LOOOONNNGGGG walk! :duh: I have read MANY threads on "the other board" complaining about the ship. Long lines, etc. I have to say, we had NO PROBLEM and LOVED the ship. But yes, the lines at meals *could* be long. I never had a problem at breakfast, but at lunchtime I would wander and see what the different venues had to offer, figure out what I wanted, then stand at that station a few minutes before it opened. I was lst on, lst off lol. The Mongolian Grill ALWAYS had a long line, but I am not interested in that kind of food, so that didn't affect me, but you can expect to spend at least 1/2 hour on that line. So take a book lol. The same with the pasta place. We tried a few times to go, but there were waits of 45 minutes+ so we just skipped it. Again, if I ever went on the ship again, I would be there a while before it opened and be the lst on line. Another tip: the pasta place is not open in the morning for dining, but the area is open for seating. Take your breakfast up there and you will find plenty of tables and a beautiful view too! We didn't "discover" this until the last sea day. Also, on sea days, they had a very small "lunch buffet" on deck 5, I think...the casino deck/lanai deck. Hmmm....it's right opposite an area where they have a small stage and also the charge dessert area. Again, I found this "by mistake" but the one day I was there, they had the BEST turkey wrap sandwiches I have EVER had....just so good and fresh!!!
Again, we loved the ship, the crew and the food. If you have any questions, let me know!
