Any good places to snorkel in Nassau?

We'll be in Nassau on the 26th with RCCL's Sovereign. Are there any decent places to snorkel from the beach, or are all the locations accessible only by boat? I found a place on the internet called Stuart Cove that offers a 3 stop trip to a reef, wreck, and shark feeding that might be interesting. Anybody tried them before?

Thanks in advance!!

Steve,

While I haven't been diving with them myself, Stuart Coves is a long-established dive shop with good reputation and a long history of shark interactions. While they've grown quite a bit in the last few years, and there have been a few complaints (by divers) of overcrowded boats, that's not as much of an issue for snorkelers.

They're reputable, and if it sounds good, I'd not hesitate to use them.

We walked into town, caught a bus across the street from the Straw market and rode to Cable Beach at the public beach. Nice sand, good snorkling, no facilities.
