I have sailed with Carnival 6 times and have planned a cruise out of Tampa in August on the Inspiration. I read these boards and others constantly and do my research before I go. However, I had read recently that the Inspiration is scheduled to be dry docked for refurbishment in September this year.Any ideas on sailing on a ship one month from being redone? My instinct is that maybe the crew won't be up to snuff, never mind the other images I have regarding 'using up all the old stuff' on the ship. Anybody been on a ship on her last leg?Most reviews I've read in the Inspiration haven't been that great, but I also know how reviews go. I always have a great time, just cruising is the BEST, but I am planning on taking my son on a 'surprise birthday' cruise, and I really don't want the surprise to be on me!Thanks for your help.
