My husband and I are going April on the Voyager to the Western Caribbean.
Our excursions are prepaid as well as our gratuities. We are not drinkers however we may spend a little time in the casino.:)
We have saved 1200.00. With all of the things above I metioned are pre-paid, do you all think that will be enough for a good time?
The only trasportation will be cab to and from MIA.
Thanks so so much!

My wife abd I went on the same cruise aborad the Navigator in Feb of 2006 and took about the same amount. As with you we prepaid all our excursions we did pay for tips and such out of the money we took and we still brought back about $400. I will say that my wife and I do not spend a lot of time in the Casino so that did save us some. But since this was our first cruise we spent alot on pictures and such that if I were to do it again I would not repeat. Even though the pictures are great I felt they we a bit expensive and most we could have taken ourselfs. We tend to be very conservative when ot comes to spending money but I never felt like we didn't get some thing for lack of cash. But be aware if you are really into shopping on the Islands there will be alot of opportunities to drop a lot of cash fash. So if you are looking for a relaxing vacation you have spent most everything you need to so far. If you like to shop and or want to spend a lot of time in the casino then having a little extra may not be a bad idea.

Hope this helps

I think you will be fine based on what your intentions are. Another cash expense would be to tip the tour guides(if you see fit). That is only a few bucks anyway.

One item many people forget about is parking fees at the airport. Remember to have that money set aside so you can get your car out of hock when you get home.
