If so:
How was the weather? (hear this is hurricane season)
Will you cruise during AUGUST/SEPT again?
Which Cruise Line/Ship?

Welcome your personal comments regarding the following:
(1) Food
(2) Stateroom
(3) Entertainment on board
(4) Port excursions (Pros/Cons) especially tips in avoiding the con artists.

Nothing beats past cruisers personal comments usually in areas a general summary will not cover.

Thanks

I assume that you are sailing on the Conquest, so having no experience with the ship, I cannot comment. Relative to the weather; however, I can speak with some authority since I live on the Gulf Coast about 120 miles east of N.O. Late August and September is peak season for Atlantic (including the Gulf & Caribbean) hurricanes. Last year, we had one storm that occupied the entire Gulf of Mexico; no where for ships to go but to stay close to shore. The Jubilee sailed from Galveston bound for Mexico and ended up in Gulfport, MS where most of the passengers disembarked (after they stopped throwing up). It is because of this potential risk that pricing for that time of year is always depressed. I have sailed several times in that time frame, but never from a gulf port; always from Florida. I figure the ship's captain has some leeway in adjusting an itinerary to avoid an approaching storm when sailing from the Florida east coast. Odds are that the weather will be fine, just be aware of the risk at that time of year.
