Any tips for saving money in Cococay?

I guess that RCL owns the island so every penny spent at that location goes back to RCL. Anyone have any tips to save money (someone suggested bringing your own floating mat).

Are there locals selling stuff there? If so, any particularly good deals?

Snorkle close to the reef, over the sunken ship and away from others. If you want sun, stay on the ship, you will have a lot of it for yourself.

In short, if you dont enjoy sea life dont bother with the tender ride.

No,I didnt find the locals having any great deals...............and nothing we didnt see in Nassau or any other island........

We usually just lay on the beach,,,,,,,,sometimes get a mat..........oh yea and drink a CocoLoco........

You really wont be spending that much on the island, unless of course, you parasail,jetski,etc.........

And by the way,,BBQ lunch is free and you use your seapass to buy drinks................you ONLY need cash if you're gonna buy something from the locals......
