Hi Brian. I've been on this itenerary many times. We won't be in San Juan long enough to do anything except head to a local bar.

I've been to Orient Beach a few times on St. Maartin. I've rented a car before and driven around (easy to do). I am not sure what we are going to do. Maybe take a local bus (they look like taxi's) over to Maho Beach and watch the planes come in. The last time we were there, my BF and I just got off the ship and drank $1 corona's and talked to the locals. It was fun and relaxing.

I think we might go to St. John's when we go to St. Thomas. It depends on which pier we go to. I haven't checked it out. If it's Crown Bay, maybe we will just head over to Sapphire Beach so the guys can rent jet ski's.

We are going on this cruise more for the getaway than the ports of call.

BTW - I'm going to ask for one of the moderators to move this post to the Carnival Roll Call. This way anyone else going may see it.
