Not for us thanks. Too far to walk back down the hallways. We prefer a more central location. We are in C304. Again. We had it several cruises ago and loved it. Huge balcony. You just have to make sure the floor drains in the shower are working. I flooded it more than a few times.

Gr8 choice on the cabin Mike. Its nice to have inside info when trying to make cabin choices. One thing nice on the Grand is at least they have 3 elevator shafts unlike the RCCL Behemoths that only have two. :hammer:

Mike, We take a couple of beach towels and roll them making a long snake thing. Lay them on the outside of the drain ( make sure to get all the way to the wall ) to stop the water from running all over the place. The cabin steward would make sure we had them each day.

Gramma Ann, we just bunched up wet towels as a levy, but I think I will give your idea a go this time. It also helps if you wiat until the ship is docked to shower. Even a gentle rocking motion would set waves washing across the bathroom.

But the big shower curtain track is a great place to hang stuff to dry.

Red,

The disabled cabins on the Grand class are really spacious and you can't beat the location on the Caribe deck, near the midship elevator and near the laundry (but knot so near you hear the door slamming). Only 2 drawbacks, the drains in the bathroom floor are not the best and you need to be mindful fo the odd ramp when coming and going from the balcony.

well.. if you have a problem with Laundry doors.. just ask Einstein for help.. he has a lot of experience with them

I remember Maw and Paw talking about the ramp in their cabin on one of the cruises also.

My mother had one of those type bathrooms where she lived. It was a great setup.. but I can see where drainage would be a problem on a ship. But well worth the bother.

So I have heard E. What I want to know is where I can get a travel tool kit. I usually just pack my Leatherman and a Boy Scout Knife.

Oh, and Duct Tape. Don't leave home without it.

The MAIN thing is that U are on the SHIP Denise. My Fav location on this class of Princess ship when we have NOT had a balcony is on Aloha Deck in one those Aft Insides because its a VERY short walk out to that VERY nice Aft Pool. Its almost as if U have your own Aft Balcony when U are in those cabins. We have been in one of those insides 3 times and each time we have loved the cabin and the location.
