We were on a Panama canal cruise from San Francisco to Fort Lauderdate that left from SF on Oct. 12 2001. We were in Acapulco, Cabo San Lucas and Huatulco in Mexico and then Puntarenas Costa Rico. The weather was good the whole trip except that it rained and was cloudy the day we did the Panama Canal transit. But otherwise the weather was warm and we were able to do whatever we wanted in each of the ports.

I don't know if the cruise lines will refund your money or give you another cruise unless the weather is so bad (Hurricane, etc.) that they can't make the cruise at all.

We have been on cruises where because of the rough weather we were not able to go ashore at one port but never at more than one.

I'm not sure if this helps any but my advice would be go on the cruise and enjoy it.

Happy cruising.
