IMHO it's highly unlikely Princess will cancel a cruise due to weather. They've got to get that ship to the next cruise's destination, and take in money . However, having said that, you must know that Princess will not put the passengers in any unavoidable danger. If you miss a port there will most likely be a cruise credit. Greedy passengers will whine that it wasn't enough but it will be a reasonable amount. We've been on Princess when the Mediterranean "churned over" and despite only a handful of passengers being able to ambulate, a day and a half later everything was fine. We've also arrived to no ship, and things have worked out to our satisfaction. We've also had armed guards accompanying us on tours and police/army vehicles escorting us. You will not be in any avoidable danger with Princess. Happy Cruising.Pat
