Hi. My sister Virginia and I are planning to book for the Jan. 11th STAR p. cruise.
We live in the Los Angeles, Caif. area. I think it will be cool and maybe windy going towards
Mexico on the outside decks. The port cities will be approx. 80 degrees, a dry heat. It is not too humid in those ports. So, we plan to take warm clothes for the cool weather and summer clothes for the ports.
I have traveled many times to those ports during Dec, Jan, and Feb. The ports are like summer months. The sky will be blue and cruisers will be wearing shorts.
If the ocean is choppy, we may not stop in Cabo San Lucas, because we have to take tenders to port. The ocean swells can cause a lot of problems for the tenders.
My travel agent says the Star is a beautiful ship and the food is great. We are going just for the cruise experience and plan to eat good food, dance all night, attend the shows. The ports are secondary.
We also speak some Spanish, so that helps a lot. As soon as I get my cabin number I will post it. I have been on 14 cruises. Let us know if you two decide to cruise with us.
SEA YOU, LUCI
