We have been on Mercury, and we been on an ALaskan cruise.  Mercury is one of our favourite ships and Celebirity is a favourite with us.   We found Mercury to be top notch.   We are going on Princess next month, but it was our second choice due to dates.   The ALaska cruise is wonderful.  Not sure if it  leaves from Vancouver, but if it does, spend some time there.  Vancouver is a beautiful city and well work a few days
