Anyone Stay in Mini-Suite or Balcony Cabin on Caribbean Princess?

Can anyone give us a review on what the balcony and mini-suite cabins are like on the Caribbean Princess? There has been question about the twin beds conforming to queen beds. Also, if you could please tell us what deck you were on and the location of your cabin would be helpful, too. We have heard some decks were covered and some were open.

We are getting excited! We sail 5/29!

We were on the Riviera Deck. Our balcony was covered, but there were some that were half covered (the bigger ones on Caribe Deck). It was definitely big enough for the two of us, but our friends were next door...so we had our steward open the dividing door to each others' balcony. The beds were two twins, but didn't realize until the end of the cruise, as they already had them joined to make a queen.

We just got off the 4/10 Caribbean Princess cruise. We were on Caribe deck - 402 midship. Our balcony was 1/2 covered and 1/2 open. We had two padded reclining chairs, a small side table (or footstool!) and a dining table and two chairs and plenty of room to walk around without feeling at all crowded. We could look down on the balconies below and they were completely open and not nearly as large. For my money, the Caribe balconies are the only way to go.

Our bed was two twins but joined to make a queen and no problem with them coming apart or even sensing a division in the middle. Great pillows as well! Plenty of room under the bed for luggage storage. The closet was huge with tons of nice wooden hangers.

after looking at the princess caribbean deck plan it appears that the dolphin deck has the largest balcony of them all. Some are saying the caribe deck the largest balconys.
Anyone stayed on the dolphin deck (mini suites) that could confirm this. Or anyone that has been on the ship that has good information on balcony sizes / covered or half covered that could resolve this would be great. Thanks

Just returned from the 4/10 sailing and stayed on the Caribe deck. The Dolphin deck DOES NOT HAVE the large balcony. They are on the Caribe deck. The Dolphin deck is comprised mostly of mini-suites and they have the standard size balcony. Because of the configuration of the ship, the Dolphin deck balconies are totally exposed to Caribe (hmm, not sure if the decks above Caribe can see Dolphin).
