Actually I think you will enjoy the anytime dining option on the Sapphire Princess.   There are 4 different theme type dining rooms to choose from so you will experience a wonderful variety in dining venues!  In addition to the special menus of the "theme" restaurants you will be able to order off the same menu that is being offered in the Traditional dining room.

I do suggest that you make reservations for the anytime dining rooms when you board the ship.  We cruised on Sapphire's sister ship, the Diamond Princess, in February.  When we boarded we were permitted to make reservations for the first 2 night (ie Saturday and Sunday).  On Sunday morning they opened up reservations for the remainder of the week.  We ate every evening at 6:20pm and found that worked well for timing for the evening shows.

We were very pleased with the menus,  the food and the service in each and every one of the dining rooms.  We would choose anytime dining again.  I hope the meals you have in the PC dining rooms provide you with a similar happy experience and you will not feel that you you have "settled"  for anything that is inferior.
