I’m not an experienced cruiser, but I’ll give you my take on anytime dining.  I liked it.  There were four of us and we were always able to get a table for four.  Once we found a waiter we really liked we stuck with him.  We also were able to find a table location we liked and arranged to get that table for the rest of the cruise.

Reservations are basically the same as reservations for a restaurant.  The earlier you make them the more likely you are to get what you want.  I would suggest you reserve your table for as many days in advance as you can.  You can always call and make changes if you have to.

Slipping the maitre d' a 20 can be money well spent.  Every night at 6:30 we were met with all smiles and led to “our table.† We had a wonderful time and the food alone was worth the price of the cruise.
