App Advice? Use'em or not of value?

Does anyone have comments or recommendations on phone apps? Essential, influence what cruise you go on, some value, or no value?

I only have 3 apps on my phone, two are for rccl and celebrity there definitely needed .

I have two apps on my phone Celebrity and Princess. Both have some glitches but both equally needed.

You now need to use the phone apps for dinner reservations & menus, show reservations and to receive messages from the cruise line. I don’t like it. I normally would put mine in the safe in the past. Now you aren’t given the daily schedule in your cabin, they want you to use the app. You can get a print copy, but you have to pick it up at guest services.

I have the Princess app on my phone because I need it to just fill out things before I board the ship. I do NOT like it because of problems with it and I never use it once I am on the ship.

We book suites so once on board we have concierge take care of all reservations etc
