Carnival's policy relative to wine has not changed. They had previously clamped down on passengers carrying on soda, beer, and bottled water; prohibiting it altogether. After a huge backlash of negativity, they have relaxed that policy and inserted the word "excessive" into the policy. In other words, you cannot bring on board such things in excessive quantities. Carnival's policy allowing you to bring a bottle or two of wine for a "special occasion" remains the same.

Can you bring a case of beer for yourself?

Can you buy beer on board by the case, if so how much?

What you can do is ask the person in charge of your cabin if they can buy it for you at their price. We did on the Sensation. We had a case of coors light beer waiting in our room when we came back from dinner every night. It cost about $16.00 but we just gave him a $20.00. It cost $12.00 for 4 or 5 up on deck. If you take care of them they will take care of you!

our Holiday cruise we were able to carry on-board all the wine and champagne we wanted to at embark nation in our carry on bags.

The beer and liquor had to be packed in your checked luggage.

They were checking bags in Cozumel, but it was fairly easy to get liquor and beer on board.
