How is it now? How early to the airport? Does it matter what time you leave. We have a 5:50 AM flight out of KCI to FLL. Do they still say 2 hours before flight time. Let me know thanks. Kat
Last I flew (in August) they were still saying two hours. However, with this early of a flight, I'd call the airline and see what time their check in counters open. Better to be early and waiting in line then get bogged down in the security lines.
It really depends on the airport. The fact that you have an early flight out of KCI might make it easier. However, I would give myself plenty of time. You never know if they have increased security. I frequently fly out of Washington/Dulles and I have to be there 2 hours before the flight, no matter what the time.
