Either Baby Beach if you take an excursion/rent a car..or Eagle Beach if you stay a mile away from the ship..The snorkeling at Baby Beach is incredible..Eagle beach is for water sports..Malmok Beach by cab or taxi or bus for snorkeling about 15 minutes from the ship..our time share is in Aruba, we =love Aruba..been going for years..Our all time favorite is Baby Beach.:thumb...Have a wonderful time....Joanne
Palm Beach was a very nice beach for just lounging around. There are water activities, a gentle slop to the beach, soft sand, amazing colors of the water, calm waves and resturants all over the place. Our favortie resturant was one on the end of a pier. The food was great and colors of the water spectacular.
Go to Eagle Beach. It is closest to ship and will cost less in taxi fair. I believe they rent chairs at the Manchebo resort. Try the bucuti also.
I see that you went on the nav. in August. I am looking at the mariner or adventure for august. Can you tell me how crowded it was and was it full of children?
Thanks for all the info! Since we have one of those long days (8am-1am) I think I would like to rent a car and tour the island all day and visit the differant beaches and such. There is a thrifty rental car right at the cruise terminal!
magoog- our Nav cruise was the last weekend in aug (labor day weekend) so i think the kid count may have been a bit down. my kids missed the first week of school for this cruise! I'm not a fan of unruly kids or large amounts of them either but i had no problems with this cruise. I had a lot more trouble on the pride in aug of the year before! i would say the ship was pretty doggone full but its so big it never caused a problem.
