Just thought I'd let you know how it worked out. I arranged with the cruise director to call my girlfriend up on stage prior to the evening show. He called her up by telling her she had won a surprise drawing for $100. She ran up to collect her money. The CD then asked who she was on the cruise with and she named off parents/child/brothers and finally boyfriend. The CD asked if boyfriend was very romantic and said if he would come up and do something romatic he would also get $100. They lowered the lights and we danced a short slow dance. The CD then asked the crowd of about 400 or so if they thought we could do something more romantic at which time I got down on my knee and asked her to marry me! (By the way - she said "Yes!"). The CD was so helpful and he even arranged to have it videoed for us (for a fee of course!) GREAT TIME on the Conquest.
