If you take your own cab or water taxi from the dock rather than the Carnival excursion, what is the fee to tour the Aquarium for each adult. Thanks for the info.
water taxi is 4 dollars each way and entrance to the dig is 25.00 you only save about 8 dollars to book it on your own, not worth the saving for me to book it independantly
Water Taxi to Paradise Island/Atlantis is $3 per person, cab is $4 per person. You can walk around, see some fish, casino, and parts of the resort for free. We didn't make it up close to the Aztec Temple, which you have to pay for. We saw plently just wandering around though.
Sometimes you can get into the aquarium for free because they don't always monitor the entrance well, at least not when we were there. It was very interesting, but I don't think worth $25 per person. It's similar to the walk through tunnel section of the Ripley's aquariums, but without all the other exhibits they have at Ripley's.
We think taking this tour on your own is the best way to do it, for one thing you are not on a schedule as with a ships tour and can walk around and see the hotel and grounds after doing the digs tour, have a coffee or a drink, check out the casino, and the shops. Another reason is you take a taxi over to the Atlantis and you get dropped off at the front door , some of the tours have you taking a water taxi etc. and you get dropped off a ways from the hotel and have to walk as opposed to being dropped off at the front door. Just MHO :wave When we went about a year and a half ago it was $25.00 per person for adults to go through the digs, the taxi was $4.00 per person to go to Atlantis from the pier.
Edited to add: I know the poster has already taken their cruise, but I thought I would post this link to the Atlantis and the digs for any one else that may want the info :wave
