It's usually played once each day, not twice. It's preced most days by about a 45 minute session of "dicey wooden horse racing" which is lots of fun.
The Bingo cards are sold in packs of four if I recall correctly. Each card is for one game and has three separate perforated cards on it. The games run as follows (most days)
game 1 - $50 prize
game 2 - $100 prize
game 3 - $150 prize
game 4 - $1500 on first day and increase by $100 each day if no one wins.
Game 4 requires that the winner have every space on one of the three "games" on a card of three. The first day..... if no one wins before they've called 48 numbers, there is no winner and that's when the $100 is added to the big kitty. ON the final day, if no one has won the big prize all week, they play until there's a winner. On our recent cruise, the girl next to us won the $2200 prize on the last day (there had been no winner all week).
Cards are $20 for a pack that gives you all four games for that day. Bonus cards are available that let you play extra cards just on game 4 each day - there's usually an "action pack" for $30 thjat includes these extra cards.
Good tip: usually, if you visit the casino on the very first night of the cruise (departure day), they'll give you two free bonus cards to be used for game 4 on the first day of Bingo. This little freebie is mentioned in the daily event schedule that gets delivered to everyone but we overlooked and missed out on the freebies. Also - if you play table games in the casino, each cruise card is entitled to buy one $10 casino voucher that is worth $15 - you have to bet the entire voucher amount at one time (e.g. by betting on black or red at roulette or using it for one hand on blackjack). If you win, it's converted to chips and you keep the original $15 value (for which you paid $10) and you keep the winnings. If you lose, the entire amount goes to the tip pool for the casino dealers 9so I'm told).
