Doesn't this just break your heart? The board at the left of the first photo is a 2x4. So you can judge just how little he is. I am calling him Simon right now. I sprawled face down on the porch, and he came up and ate from my hand. I got to touch him once, but he is very fearful. Very smart, tho, he figured out to come up on the porch to eat. After he was through eating, he sat on the top step and purred at me. Kneeded and everything. I even got him to chase a leaf and play a little. He rubbed his head all over the top step, claiming territory. Tonight, even without feeding him he came and sat by me in the yard, and talked to me, Siamese are very very vocal. I know some people thinks cats should be allowed to roam free, but he needs to be inside where he is not scared every time someone makes a noise next door. Still trying to decide if I can give him that home. He breaks my heart.

Connie.......Gusto, Carmello and I are all saying prayers (animal and human) that Simon adopts you and finally gives in to all the love you can give him.

He's learning to trust. It will take time, but he is already warming up to you. Sweet sweet sweet....

He's so cute, connie...I'm so happy to hear he's still around and you are making progress with him.

We had a Siamese for 18 years, and they are wonderful pets.

Connie, I am glad the kitty is starting to trust you. After all, just think how frightened that poor little thing has been. Don't know where his mawma and siblings are? It is a cold strange world out there. Thanks goodness you found him before the cold snowy weather comes in. Keep up the good work!!
