Returned on 5/10 from seven day. Third time on Celebrity and lived up to expectations. Great ship, great service, entertainment, etc. Have each daily newspaper, etc. Any questions, just give a shout....

Sailed Century during her inaugural season and loved it. Sailing again in August. Several recent posts re Century have mentioned noticeable "wear and tear." Comments?
Thanks.

Any wear and tear not really to noticable to us. Did see one bit of carpet in the Art Auction area that was worn and some (not many) elevator buttons did not make contact very well when pushed. Also in one of the nine elevators the inside floor indicator display did not work, but easy to tell your location by the push button light going out when on that floor.
Cabin, area passageways and all else in excellent condition.
Oh, yeah, the slots did not pay off after the first night!! Maybe overuse??

Re the slots not paying off after the first night - a definite sign of "wear and tear," but not the ship's; the passenger's!

We sailed Century last October and are going again this coming October. Century doesn't look like one of the brand new ships, because she's not. But she's in very good condition and has a noticible "class" that many ships don't have, at least not to that degree. Obviously we think Century is a great deal and a great ship, because this is the first time we've repeated on the same ship.

Welcome home :wave the Century is one of our favoite ships. We are looking into a Dec. cruise on it for this year. We have sailed on the Century twice so far and as you can see we want to go again. She has class ! And the spa is one of my hiding places when I want to get away from it all :thumb
