Got back last evening from the Island Princess. Had a great time, but do have some observations, will put a few quick ones here but will be working on a comprehensive comparision of the Island Princess 12/16 sailing and the Coral Princess 11/19 sailing.
Overall a great cruise.
However...
..service in the dining room was not good. Even heard this from passengers who were doing traditional dining.
..our waiter was mediocre at best, ass't waiter excellent.
..head waiter did not come by table until 5'th night and that was only after I asked if there was indeed one.
..never saw the matre'd.
..food was excellent however.
..Sabitinis (ate there 1 night) and Bayou (ate there 2 nights) were OUTSTANDING the the service 5+ star.
