Back to back cruise question

Hi everyone,

Thanks so much for such a useful site- I have just booked a back to back east and west carribean cruise which means that we will return to Miami halfway through the cruise does anyone know if we will be allowed off there? and if so will we have the nightmare immigration queues? (We are Welsh)

Also while I am on does anyone have a suggestion of the nicest spot in Labadee, last time we were near the food bit but it wasn't that pretty. We are not looking forward to having to spend two days there next year.

Thanks
Justine

Ahoy matey and =welcome to Cruise @ddicts. I don't know for sure about the immigration getting on and off the ship in Miami but it sounds like it could be a hassle.

I loved Labadee. We did the wave runners and stayed in the main area. If you want to do something different there is an excursion you can purchase to Malfini Beach. I have heard mixed reviews on this one. Seems a bit pricy at $60 but maybe someone who has done it can advise. Here's a link with more information on that trip.

Thanks very much for that, I don't think we will bother getting off, perhaps we will just sit on our balcony and watch all the new fish get on!! or take advantage of an empty pool /ice rink . Our travel agent thinks that immigration officers will come on board to meet us because we will ave left US waters and then returned, they will call us all to a central meeting point with our passports but that is not going to be as much as a pain as getting off.

Re Labadee we have now booked up all our excursions and are going to do our scuba exams, snorkeling and other activities so now I am actually starting to look forward to a nice quiet easy day on the beach.

Thanks Again
Justine
