Back to the old grind

We are home. (Actually have been since Friday evening, but have been busy. busy since).

We had the most relaxing vacation that we have ever had. Even with the delays in getting there and back. It was so great to spend the majority of the day lounging by the pool and waiting for the waiter to bring us another drink. We both managed to get a GREAT tan.

We stayed at "Dreams Resort and Spa" in Puerto Vallarta. It is an all inclusive and was FANTABULOUS! ! ! ! I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone. Our room was on the 10th floor and had an extremely wonderful view. They had our room decorated for us upon our arrival (pictures to come). Six pools / jacuzzis to choose from, five restaurants plus 24 hour room service.

We watched Monday night football on a big screen while laying on the beach. (HOW COOL!)

To top it all off, they have a program that helps turtles. They release several hundred each evening at sunset.

Once I get the photos set up, I'll include a link.

For now, back to work tomorrow and I'm sure a LOT of catching up to do.

Sounds like a nice place, Tobyn. How did you like the all-inclusive as compared to a cruise, just curious....

Were there any slot machines in PV???

Thanks everyone. No slots in town (that I am aware of) Raggae. As for a comparison to a cruise . . . .there are things I loved about both, and things that are just okay about both. I guess it would be depending on a personal likes / dislikes. For example, a week at the al-inclusive was less expensive and the cost of drinks were included, but we didn't get to see a different place each day. The bed was extremely hard and there was no gentle rocking on the waves. So its all about how do you want to spend your vacation. But I would definitely stay at an all inclusive again. In fact, Bread has said she will be looking at St. Thomas and Cancun for all inclusives for a future retreat.

What a wonderful way to celebrate your anniversary. The resort sounds beautiful, can't wait to see the photos. We enjoy both resorts and cruises, each is unique in it's own way.
