Bad news

My dh's procedure was a no go. His arteries in his legs were too calcified to do the bypass graft. The dr. said to think of a piece of chalk and that was pretty much what they were like.

The inevitable will happen when he decides to do it. He isn't back from the or yet so I don't know what his reaction is going to be. He will have to decide how long he wants to live with the pain before he has the amputation below the knee.

Please pray for both of us to be strong throughout this ordeal. It isn't the end of the world and being alive beats the other option!!!!!!!!!!

Well, he is in as good of spirits as you would expect. His dad had the same type of amputaion as this would be and he saw that you can do anything you want to if you put your mind to it. His dad hunted and fished with no problem.
