When is the best time for deals to the Bahamas? I will be departing out of Florida I know sometimes they have prices from the 100's but the cheapest I see now is 3 days from $229

I found a 3 night obstructed ocean view for 339 in may but that still seems a little high doesn't it? I went to Mexico on a much nicer ship for that price for 4 nights ( it might not seem like a lot to most but im a broke 22 year old wanting to take my girlfriend somewhere nice for her birthday without going into debt! haha)

Surprisingly, the 4 nighter Bahama cruises can be had cheaper than the 3 nighters...what ship are you looking at??

the closest port to me is port Canaveral and about the only ship out of there on RC is the monarch of the seas. I checked ft. Lauderdale and Miami but the prices weren't any cheaper and the boat ratings were the same so I figured it was my best bet

Ive been on Monarch 3 times...next week will be 4...........as long as you dont expect a big fancy ship with all the bells and whistles, you'll be fine.............We always have a good time.............its all in your attitude........

If you're looking at deck 8 (Obstructed) there are some cabins really not obstructed at all..........the obstruction is the life boats and some cabins are between them so you can see out.. look for the ones with the dots(non obstructed).

thanks PH8 for all the info and have you been on the Navigator of the Seas? I took that to Cozumel last month. How does the Monarch compare to it?

Been on NV twice(going again Feb 5th).............went Dec 15th.............is that the one you did??

Anyway,no comparision...........NV is much bigger with more to do..............check out www.rccl.com and look at ships...........you can see both of them and see what each offers..............
