Re: Bahamas in Nov

The ship will dock in Nassau near the shopping district. I have never been to Blackbeard beach but if you are looking for some relaxing time at a beach go to Cabbage Beach. Take a cab to Paradise Island and ask the driver to drop you off at Cabbage Beach right next to the Sheraton Grand Hotel.
This is a public beach and it is free. Bring beach towels from the ship and find a spot near the Sheraton. Never had a problem buying food and drink at their facility.
Nearby you can rent jetskis, banana boat rides, and parasailing.
As I said the beach is open to the public so you can also walk down to the Atlantis Hotel. The taxi ride is $4 per/person. Stay away from the water taxi!!

Too cold is a relative thing. In Princess Cay last month, it was too cold for most people, but my friend and I had no problem staying in for almost an hour.
