Can somebody tell me how is the weather in Bahamas in November? It is warm enough to do scuba diving or snorkeling?

Thanks!!

I spent a weekend in Nassau last October and it was quite warm. Actually it was hot HOT!! Since it was hot there in October, I'm pretty sure it will be warm enough to scuba dive or snorkel in November. I also cruised to Nassau this past January and although it got a little cool in the evening, in the afternoon it was very warm.

Thanks for the reply. I see that you've been in the Fascination twice this year. How did you like the ship? Is it better than the Majesty of the Seas (RCCL) (In your opinion)? I still don't know if I want to book my trip with the Fascination or the Majesty. Please advice. Thanks!

I've never been on the Majesty of the Seas so I can't give any first hand information on that ship. From the friends I know who've sailed RCCL and Carnival, they prefered Carnival. I guess it really depends on your personal preference. They said Carnival offered more night life and more activities overall. RCCL was more laid back. They also said the rooms on RCCL are really small. Again, I've never been on any RCCL ships so I don't know first hand.

As for the Fascination...I really enjoyed myself both times. Everything was always clean and in order and the crew was wonderful. They were always friendly and very helpful. This has been my experience each time I've cruised. My first time on the Fascination I cruised with my sister. Carnival fell a little short in a couple of areas (compared to the other cruises) but we still had a wonderful time. I posted a review for that cruise.

I chose the Fascination the second time because it was a convienent quick get away and what a better way to get away for the weekend than to go on a cruise. When I took that cruise in April, I cruised solo. I again had a wonderful time. I feel like the crew paid closer attention to me since I was cruising solo. The food was much better this time. As I stated in my review from the January cruise, my sister and I believe they had a new cooking crew on the ship in January.

Overall, I had a great time on both cruises. I hope this information helps.

I was in Nassau last year on the 20th of November. The weather was amazing. We spent the day snorkling and relaxing at the most beautiful beach. It was our favorite day of the cruise. I can't wait to be back there in a few weeks. Enjoy your trip!!

We were on the Majesty of the Seas and loved every minute! It is an older ship but kept up very well. As far as the difference between the two ships, I prefer Carnival...just more fun and things to do.

October was excellent for the water, December a bit cool at first but it became easy to adjust to it, getting out into the wind was a bit chilly. But I'd happily book again, for me the weather that time of year was NOT a turn off.
