We have been confirmed for an inside stateroom on the Baja deck of the Grand Princess. This will be our first Princess cruise. What should we expect regarding size and amenities in our room? Thanks

Actually, the size of the stateroom is incorrect on that website. I am booked on the Aloha deck on Princess and was orignallyon another deck. I saw a picture of a room that opened up (inside cabin) and it looked bigger than my room so I called them to swicth. Found out the inside staterooms are mostly 160 square feet. the one I had was that size. Theo ne I now switched to on the Aloha deck (if you look at the deck plans you will see some are bigger looking under the pool area) is 182 square feet. I got all this information directly from princess cruise lines. Nice considering my last cruise on teh Nordic Empress (inside cabion) was only 116 square feet.

Thanks for the info on the room size. We are so excited about our first Princess cruise! Two months seems an eternity

I was on Grand and had Baja 521. I thought it was fine for two people, plenty of room for clothes to hang, drawers for stuff, etc. The safe was a nice touch and easy to operate. There was a nice seating area in front of a large mirror so you can do hair/makeup outside of the bathroom while the other person showers, etc. We had the two beds pushed together and it made for a very nice, firm bed. I love the darkness when you turn out the lights, it makes for very restful sleep. We would just arrange for a wake up call on excursion days, since the sun wouldnt' wake us up. You can also fit all your emptied luggage under the bed so it's not in your way all week. We would just keep putting dirty clothes in an empty suitcase and shove it back under the bed. I have no problems with an inside room, it seemed just fine with us. Enjoy your cruise !!

Thanks for the "inside" info. We also love the darkness for sleeping. I can't wait to see the room up close. It sounds very nice. -Mary
