I have booked the Grand Aloha deck A730. ......will the overhang on the deck above shade this balcony?? Would the Baja deck in the same area get more sun???

any info would be helpful....thank you

Lido, Aloha and Baja are all the same balcony configuration - fully covered. If you are facing into the sun there will be sun on your deck, but it's not the best for sunning.

The only standard balcony cabins which lend themselves to some sunning (sometimes the ship itself will shade it, so nothing is as good as top decks) are the BA/BBs on Caribe. Those balconies are half open so it's much easier to sun out there.

Thank you for your posting. This is our 1st cruise with Princess and not sure what to expect!! I hope the deck above does not block all the sun!!!

Change to the Baja Deck or better yet, the Caribe Deck if you can (Caribe=biggest balconies). You have a higher risk of getting a noisy cabin with the Aloha Deck cabins. They are directly below the pools, the chaise lounges that get dragged all over at night and in the early AM, the Horizon Court, and all the other high traffic areas on the Lido Deck. Not all cabins will hear the noise, but why take a chance if you can avoid it?
