CAN ANYONE TELL ME ABOUT THE BAR COUPONS, I'VE BEEN PURCHASING THEM
FOR A FEW WEEKS. WILL I SAVE USING THEM AND WHEN DO I GET THEM? DO I HAVE TO USE THEM BEFOR I USE THE S&S ACCOUNT? I'D LIKE TO USE THEM WHERE EVER I CAN EXCEPT AT DINNER, ARE THERE ANY RESTRICTIONS OR LIMIT
AS TO HOW MANY I CAN PURCHASE?

i read someplace that you have to use all the coupons first before using your s&s card, is that right?

We had coupons with a "gift package" that I bought. You can use them at any bar, but they are only for certain type of drinks; beer, wine, some cocktails but the price is limited. Example is a mixed drink like a Cosmopolitan is $5.95, you can't use it. Of course it is not worth using them on just a beer or the drink of the day. Most bar servers, just take the coupon and don't even give you a slip thus it is not posted to your account and you don't sign for your drink.

Thanks for that last piece of information because most of the time a cosmopolitan is my drink of choice and I had been thinking of buying the coupons.

Not true...your drink coupons have nothing to do with your Sign & Sail account.

I used the drink coupons on my last cruise. I don't think there is a limit to the number of coupons you can purchase - they are $19.50 for a pack of 4 coupons. You can purchase them over the phone or Carnival's website up to 14 days prior to sailing. You pick them up from the main dining room on the first day of your cruise. They have no impact on your S&S card. If you have coupons left over at the end of the cruise you can save them for your next cruise.

Enjoy!

Yeah, I will always use these and you don't really save a lot but just knowing that these are PREPAID is a BIG plus to me. I had NO problem at all getting any of the frozen drinks I wanted! I strongly recommend the "Kiss On The Lips" and the "BBC" Miami Vice is also very good. They do NOT expire and you can use your leftovers on your next cruise!

I have a guarantee on the Conquest on Oct 5th and I will NOT know my cabin assignment until a few days before we sail but I will find a way to order these in advance!

Sara -You can still order drink coupons even if you have a guarantee reservation and don't know your room number - you just have to order them over the phone instead of over the internet.

Ali - get as many as you want - nobody else will know how many you ordered. I ordered 3 books (12 coupons) for my last cruise for me.

My cruise is 11 weeks away and I've already ordered coupons, so you can order them out once you are confirmed with a booking number/cabin number. 36 tickets? Uhmm don't use them for beer, beer is cheaper than the coupons. Beers are like $3.65 and if you get the "bucket O' beers" it's even cheaper. Coupons are are $4.88 each, but they do include tax and gratuity. You also can't use them to buy the "Souvenir Glass" drink of the day, although you can use them for the refills, though that would be silly as the drinks of the day are usually like $2.95.

I have 12 coupons for fou fou drinks by the pool for the week (I still may order another packet so each of us has enough for one a day) then the beer I'll put on my S&S card and the wine at dinner? Well I may bring my own wine and pay the corkage fee, I'm going to price that out against the wine list! :)

Let's see, did I forget anything?? :)

"HOW MANY COUPONS DID EVERYONE GET? I DON'T WANT TO LOOK LIKE AN ALCOHOLIC"

Who cares just order a 100 or so and have fun!!LOL!I was on the Holiday when that Hurricane Lili thing happened and got pulled in a day early and I just my leftover coupons on next cruise six weeks later.

Snowball, yeah I know I can order them via phone. I generally have a problem getting them as I NEVER get the early seating I prefer and since they give these out the first night at dinner and I always have to wait in the LONG line to get it changed and then I have to go back to the late seating to get my tickets. Maybe I will get lucky this time on the Conquest Oct 5th and get early seating?
