Barcelona to Venice-Millie

Planning to go from Barcelona to Venice next summer on the Millie. Deciding on going either June 26 to July 8 or July 20 to Aug. 1. Has anyone travelled those dates? Weather better on which one? We want nice warm-to hot weather, no rain (hopefully). Never travelled with Celebrity before. Have travelled with Royal Carribean and Holland America. Liked the food on HAL but not RCCL. After reading many messages here , looks like Celebrity will have better food than RCCL. Any advice regarding cruising this itinerary? Thanks.

We just did this one this past summer...
We flew into Venice July 30, boarded the Millie Aug 2 and did a 13-nighter, then 2 extra nights in Barcelona...

BEST CRUISE I've ever taken...

Yes, the weather was HOT everywhere...But there is NO rain...
In Mediterranean climates, summers are hot and DRY...
Rainy season, what there is of it, goes from around November-April and only intermittently...

June would be cooler than July...
But , if you like it Hot, it doesn't matter...
We had no problem with the heat...the ship is always air conditioned nice and cool...

I've cruised six different lines and IMHO, Celebrity is by far the best...And the Millie is a BEAUTIFUL and comfortable (read uncrowded even when full) ship...
