Anyone know if balcony cabins on the Conquest provide bathrobes? I think it is a Cat 8A. Also, main seating is classified as "main" ....correct? Thanks! Nan

I think bathrobes are provided for all outside staterooms (window, balcony, and suite) on all Carnival ships. Only inside cabins are not given a bathrobe to use for the week.

We had eight inside cabins for our group back in April and all the cabins had two robes hung in the closet/armoire.

They are provided for use during the cruise in most rooms, I believe. If you have an inside cabin, you might have to ask for one, but according to yuyi64, you don't even have to ask!

They are available for purhase at an additional cost of $39.00 per robe if you like it enough. I am personally going to get mine prior to the cruise so that the chances of me getting a brand new one are higher! It's not that I'm against buying a "used" robe, I just want a new one if I'm paying money for it, ya know? You can purchase them through the carnival website if you know your booking number and cabin number. For those booked on a guarantee, you'll have to call in to pre-order!

Hope I've been of some help!

The robe you purchase on the ship is new and comes wrapped in plastic. I bought robes for my nieces (there were four of us in an 8A cabin) to wear on the cruise and our
room steward told us to save those for home and brought out two more for them to use on the cruise. If you buy a robe before your cruise, don't bring it with you. It may be mistakenly picked up with the linen laundry on the last day.
