We just got back from Nassau and saw a beach while we were there that was right next door to Senior Frogs. Does anyone know if this is a private or public beach? We are going back in July and would like to visit it if possible. Thanks for any info.

The beach next to Senor Frog's is owned by the hotel and charges for admission. However, you can walk around the hotel on the street and go to the public beach on the other side for free.

Hi Twinkles,
Thank you so much for the info. We will have to check it out when we go back.

all beaches in the Bahamas are public. The hotel might not allow you in, but there has to be a public entrance nearby.

If anyone know what the specs are like for this beach please do tell. I am interested is it a lagoon? Is the water calm? Is the beach nice and sandy. I have heard that you can rent chairs and umbrellas is this true? Also if this is walking distance to the ships how far a walk would you say?

This beach is located on the harbor side of Nassau and very close to all of the cruiseship and cargo traffic. I would think that the water would not be that clean in this location. I would go to Paradise Island Beach or Cable Beach for your time in Nassau.
