I was just wondering if anyone has ever been to either Carlos and Charlies or Mr Sanchos beaches in Cozumel? Which one is better and are either of them free?
Carlos & Charlie's is probably the most popular bar in Cozumel. Cozumel is also the home of the world's smallest Hard Rock Cafe. I went to Mr. Sancho's years ago. No charge to get in, at least back then. It was a beach, it was OK. I'd rather do Chankanaab park if I was going to just beach it but for me, I'd rather be snorkeling.
Palancar Beach was awesome and free. It was a nice beach with a long sand bar, and the service was awesome. We were on the floating plank 50 feet out in the water getting served by a waiter. Cheap Dos Equios too 6 for $15. Margaritaville has the best chips and salsa in the world try it..... Also everything is negotiable from stores to you taxi service, don't let them push you around take it upon yourself to put a price on products and services. I saved our party of 7 over $100 in our 5-8 hours in Cozumel just by negotiating.
