Beds on the Diamond Princess

I'm taking my first Princess cruise in July. I've cruised both Carnival and Holland America many times. Both of those cruise lines have the most comfortable beds/bedding. I was wondering how does Princess compare?

I cannot compare to Carnival but the Princess beds are not as comfortable as those on HAL. The bedding though is very nice indeed .... if you like duvets!
Be aware that Princess beds are very "firm". If you like soft be sure to request an egg crate mattress....I personally like a very firm matress and have not had a problem with Princess beds.

I never thought about the comfort of the beds, I only care that I am on a cruise. Nothing compares to your bed at home, so I just deal with it when I am not at home.
