Belize and Roatan

Hi All! I know everyone has answered this question a million times, but I am having trouble sorting through the multitudes of info, so I am asking again... Hope you don;t mind! My boyfriend and I are going to Roatan, Belize, Cayman, and Cozumel on the Carnival Paradise on 12/14. We are sort of strapped for cash and I know that the Carnival tours can be pricey...I would like to go to the beach on at least 2 ports, and we DO NOT snorkle or dive. I would just like to go and rest. I would also like to get in some shopping. So, here are my questions...
1. What are the best beachs at each port and are they crowded? Is there a cover charge to get in? Would I be better off using the beach of a resort?
2. Out of these ports, which one should I take excursions in?
3. Which are the best excursions to take, ad what are the best companies outside of Carnival? I am looking for the best price.
4. I was considering the Cave tubing in belize, but I am worried about the water being yucky or there being big bugs. I don't do bugs. As if I were to take the cave tubing, what is the best priced excursion company?
Thanks in advance for everyone;'s help! I could not have planned the details of this vacation without everyone's help! Emmy

In Cozumel you have to go to Paradise beach!! If you take a taxi to San Fransisco beach Paradise beach is right there. Everything is free, snorkel equip., ocean kayaks, ocean trampoleen, inflatable ocean rock climbing thing, beach chairs, umbrellas.... The restrooms are very clean there are outdoor freshwater showers. The food is good and the service is great!! We just returned from the inspiration 11/23 and we loved Paradise Beach. I would also recommend booking an excursion ion Belize. Belize is a third world country and the City is in terrible condition. The people seem very nice but they are obviously in a despirate place and despirate people do despirate things. It just did not seem safe. But I have heard of some great excursions there ie. Cave tubing, Zoo...Book excursions yourself online the ships ae overpriced.
