hey guys-- Quick Question for you all from a first time cruiser. I know alot of you guys have recommended Reggie Tours for tubing but have any of you guys heard of Mayawalk tours? They also do cave tubing but for 5 dollars cheaper and lunch is included. I'm researching ahead of time and refuse to fight the crowds and deal with the high costs of the cruise excursions! Any information is appreciated!

Thanks-

Cindy

I have not heard of this company. Reggie Trapp is reputable, licensed, has his own wibpage, and has been doing private tours for over 5 years. He and his family even offer return boat transfer if you run late. (I have never read that this had to be utilized.) Always remember that money is not everything. You get what you pay for. Reggie has told many people on these forums that his competitors are trying to 'steal' his business by impersonating him. He is dark skined, about 40+, very thin and energetic. Don't be fooled by an imposter. Your safety, enjoyment and his reputation are very important to him. Reggie relies on "word of mouth" advertising only for his repeat business. Check out Carnival, RCI and other cruise line forums for advise about tours @ Belize. My one recommendation is that you do plan to take a tour either with the ship or on your own.
Bon Voyage

What is cave tubing? My wife does not like rough or "scary" things, so would she like this?

From what we understand this is not a rough and scary ride. There are no rapids. It is just tubing down a river through some caves. I have yet to read a bad comment about this tour.

I have also been looking at both tour groups. Mayawalk seems ok too. Best of luck.
