we love cabins on the stern, they are often larger than side cabins and have way less wind, on alot of the ships you can be seen on the rail of your balcony, but if you get closer to the door you'll have better privacy. we are booked for the pride when it comes out west this fall, we have been to the riviera too many times, but I was able to get in 2 cruises this year by avoidin airfare on this one. have fun Jo-rene
