Hi all! I'm new to this board, and to Carnival, but excited to be leaving next week! My best friend and I will be on the Celebration May1-5.

But I have to say that I've not yet seen the answer to the biggest question in my mind... what is the best dessert onboard?? While I don't cruise *only* to eat, I've got a HORRIBLE sweet tooth and love to dream about my future desserts!

Or, is there any dessert in Cozumel that is a can't miss?

Thanks for any and all input!
Happy Cruising!

Those little chocolate cakes that dont have any flour in them

And even if you think tea time is for little old ladies , GO TO THE TEA TIME and remember that is where Alice in Wonderland had so much fun and it is of course because of the

Desserts they serve with the tea from a lovely lady who goes around with a tray full of nice little kinds of desserts and chocolate covered strawberries etc..

and then they also have flavored teas .. look in the daily newspaper they send to your room to see when tea time is ..

Last year on the Pride they had a different type of sugar free cake at dinner that was probably the best dessert there. They had orange creme, lemon, etc...all delicious & fluffy & VERY tasty!

mmm... yum! I can't wait! Do they set cookies out in the afternoon anywhere? I know on Disney there is a cookie/brownie table near the drink bar in the afternoons.

For that matter, is there are drink station on any of the decks where you can get water/coffee/whatever all the time? Probably a dumb question, but I've been wondering about that :)

thx again!!

WELCOME .....pamplemoose77 ~~!!~~ To Cruise@ddits.. You will find the nicest, most experienced people here to help with ALL your questions.

Don't miss the Chocolate Buffet. It is unbelievable the amount of decant deserts you will have to choose from.

There should be cookies and soft serve ice cream on the Lido Deck in the afternoons. Also, you can order 2 or 3 deserts at lunch and dinner. There is also a "Desert Station" set up at the buffet .... Unlimited sweets ~~!!~~

And don't forget 24 hour room service.... Cookies and brownies at you beckoning.

HMMM...on Carnival I just LOVE ALL the souffles...the dessrt called Napoleon with guava --look for these words associated with one dessert and you'll find it. And if they have Creme Brulee or a souffle with hazelnut it is NOT to be missed! ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!
Happy Sails, :) :) :) :) :)

The flourless chocolate cake, chocolate molten cake, or WHATEVER you want to call the little bites of heaven are ......well, do you remember the scene in When Harry Met Sally when the er...noises were coming out of her mouth and the lady across the way said "I'll have whatever she's having?" OK, that ABOUT describes my reaction to those little cakes!! LOL! Room service PLEASE!!! LOL!

Oh and those brownies from room service with the cookies are so good ..

They are soft and moist and so chocolate and full of chewy goodness ..

Order them up and ask for double helpings and save some for later in the night if you wake up hungry ...

The Hot Chocolate Souffle was delicious! Also the Hazelnut Creme Brulee and the Mango Napoleons. Plus everything else!
We ordered room service one evening. Had chocolate milks , chocolate chip cookies & brownies delivered within about 3 minutes from the time we ordered them. They were delicious!!! Enjoyed them on our balcony.
Can't wait till September. Conquest here we come!!!

The grand marnier soufflé is a treat! In the supper club on the Pride they had a crème brulee sampler that has vanilla, hazelnut and I think orange. It was excellent as well.

The chocolate decadence (sp?) is wonderful for chocolate lovers. There is also a dessert on the Conquest that is reeeeeeeeeally good. It was served the very first night on our March cruise. I can't remember what it is called, but it is a deep fried pastry that is "tied" up like a little bag (yes i know that sounds strange) and is filled with old timey chocolate pie filling stuff........mmmmmmmmmm good. It's served with cappucino (sp?) ice cream on the side. It is heavenly....have some for me!!!!

Man...I just re-read this....I really should try to write for a food magazine shouldn't I??? So sad....but I promise those two desserts are WONDERFUL!!!!!
