My husband and I are cruising on Adv. of the Seas next winter with one of the stops being in Curacao. What is the best thing to do or excursion to take on this island?

Take a taxi to the Sea Aquarium and the Aquarium beach. This natural environment aquarium holds many great species of sea life. The beach right next door is quiet and relaxing with facilities and lounges. There is admittance fees for both areas. Ask your driver to return for you at a specified time. Have him leave you off in town for a walking tour and walk back to your ship (if possible) over the Pontoon bridge.

I have to agree with the others. The Seaquarium is pretty cool and it has a great beach next door.

We took a local bus from the bus terminal downtown, a couple blocks from the pontoon bridge. About $1 each. We told the driver where we wanted to go and he told us when to get off. There were taxis there for our return to town.
