Good job Tommy - I like "the Sequel"!

And Jim, didn't we learn our lesson the last time Yogini drove the U-haul?

I've updated my signature - but I need a new ticker!

I know we need to be talking about the Carribean and the Mariner, but my older friend at work told me that we need to make sure that we plan our land tour before the cruise when we do Alaksa because she said that the days on land are usually busy and tiring, and we'll want the relaxation of a cruise ship to follow. I know it's early, but it's an important piece of info that I wanted to remember to share!

ok, why no more posts today? Hello????

Good afternoon all,

Tommy, thanks for getting us started, nice catchy title. Something tells me with this board, we won't have to worry about intro's, the traffic seems somewhat limited over the last year.

Sheree, interesting idea about Alaska...and yet it certainly makes sense. What a perfect ending...a seven day cruise! I wonder if we could eliminate the middle man (cruise line) and book our own 3-4 day tour...just an idea =huh

Hey all....I have been posting on the other place ... it looks like the same people are cruising with us again.
We...Regina and I came up with this title...if you like it, it is all my idea, if not talk to Regina.

Hi All,
Sheree,
sounds like a good plan to me, we can all search and see what we come up with.

Tommy and Regina,
Thanks again, the group name fits us just right :)

George,
Cutting out the middle man sounds good to me, we should search Shoretrips and see what we can come up with.

Good Morning Cats,
We are ready to cruise with you again. We are proacative this year about booking early. For those of you who have not booked, you should do so quickly as there is a great demand for the Mariner since it is her last year here. Our TA told us that everyone wants to go on her one more time.

Great job with the title Tommy and Regina! I had faith in you!

Have a great day.

Good morning back at you!

Barb, glad you found us here. As much as we love the Mariner, I am hoping that you central Floridians get a wonderful ship to replace her when she's gone. It would be great if the Liberty or one of the other new ships goes to Port Canaveral.

Tommy, when you say the same group, do you mean Becci and company? Or were you referring to our little group?

And hopefully the rest of our group, even those not on with us this year (Cris, Dee, this means you!) will keep up the post count too.

Did you all see the Indians choke under pressure last night? We were so disappointed. The magic just wasn't there! Hopefully they'll win it Saturday night.

Ok - off to work. Sheree

Hey Cats!!! I found you, I was beginning to wonder where the hell you all were....lol

Sheree, It is true you must start thinking of Alaska far in advance as there is much to research. I do plan on doing a bunch of research for Alaska once the holidays are over. I will let you all know what I come up with.

I pray they bring a freedom class ship to port canaveral. Dee and I are going down to Fort Lauderdale next Friday night for an overnight preview on the Emerald Princess. We are very excited to see this class of ship. Everything is included for the evening so it should be very nice.

Well bakc to work I go. Have a great day!

Ok...so when you have a bad cold, can't sleep at 4:00 in the morning, and there's nothing better to do, I guess that's when you create your new countdown ticker, right?

Hi Cats,

Hope you feel better soon Sheree!

My Mother invited my sister, Serena (a nurse) and her husband to cruise with us. They will get back with me in the next few weeks.

Regina and Tommy and Cats who haven't booked yet,
We are anxiously awaiting your cruise confirmation.

Hope everyone has a blessed weekend.

Good morning all,

Barb, it's great to see you sailing with us again; and even better to see you posting. Anne and I can't wait to see you and Greg again. Do you have any photos to share of the cruise...hint...hint? Did you both get a bacony on the aft?

Speaking of photos, you would think anyone up at 4:00 AM would have a little free time to post some pics? Sheree, Anne was up at 3:30 watching TV, couldn't sleep either. Myself, I actually had a dream we were cruising again and we (as in Anne and I, sorry, I didn't see any of you) were in the Windjammer, which resembled the Mall of America food court! Here's the kicker, I had to pay for my food and the guy gave me back counterfeit money for change! I woke up waiting for a manager!

Arrielle, is doing an introduction to scuba at the same dive shop I used today. She is really looking forward to it. If she has her cert next year, I will probably take her on an intro dive next year on the cruise. I'm just not sure she is mature enough to expose her to deep dives yet.

Hey y'all,

Jim, Arrielle is really looking forward to the class today. I spoke to a divemaster over the weekend and he said his wife was having the same problems as myself and she had to have a surgery. Unfortunately, the healing time was 6 months! I'm gonna have to get on this quickly if I'm gonna be diving next year.

While waiting for Anne/Arrielle to get showers, I was checking airfare / hotel rates. The Radisson is running a $129.00 hotel / cruise parking/ breakfast rate right now. For those not parking, there is a $105.00 government rate. As expected airfare is high right now.

Sheree, I cancelled the AirTran card today...it came with an annual $40.00 membership fee and rediculous APR. Funny thing, in Atlanta the poster stated "no annual fee"...seems like a deceptive practice!

Hi guys!

I got sticker shock this morning - I need to get new tires. I had no idea what they cost! George, you are probably going to suggest Costco, right? I went to Walmart this morning, then Conrad tires. I've got a little Corolla, so they are probably much cheaper than what you need for SUVs and trucks, but I was still like....=huh

I think I've got a sinus infection. I went to bed at 8:30 last night, then woke up in the middle of the night because I couldn't sleep. Now, my face hurts (no jokes, please) and I just want to close my eyes. I'm going to take it easy for the rest of the day because Greg's at work and I've got my housework done.

Barb - the more the merrier! Has your mom seen St Thomas yet? Our ports on this cruise are my very favorite ports. I can't wait to have another raspberry margarita at that little hut in st Martin by the pier. I don't know if anyone else found the place since we were pretty much doing different things this year, but they've got great margaritas! And now I've got 10+ months to find a powder margarita mix, if that is possible! That Slushie Express was the very best purchase I've made in the last few months!

And Jim, my invoice doesn't have the coupon noted on it, so I think I'll send an e-mail. I know I was supposed to get an updated invoice and I don't think I've seen it yet.

I was surprised to see the thread that Tommy and Regina mentioned - there are a lot of the same people from the Pirate group on this cruise with us. I really didn't meet many of them other than those who were at Bubba Gumps. And I think I might have met Bannerman in the past.

Ok - I've got a hot date with my blankie and pillow.

Oh, and I forgot to wish you all a Happy Sweetest Day, my sweet cruising friends! And you too George! :lol

Do you guys like the ticker? Sheree
