Birthday Breakfast?

Good morning from Texas! We leave on our Girl's Cruise in 4 days, not that I'm counting!
One of our group has a birthday during the cruise. I plan on decorating the cabin for her (carnival wanted $35 for this, dollar tree was more reasonable) and would like to plan a special birthday breakfast to kick off the special day. Has anyone celebrated a special occasion onboard? What did you do or what did Carnival do to make it special? Thank you in advance for suggestions!

Hi, Many of the things Carnival offers customers is delivery of Flowers, Cakes, Wine/Champagne and Gifts to their cabin. However, They do can do most things. Would it be a birthday breakfast in the cabin or at say a dining room?

You should be able to arrange something like a cake with breakfast in a dining room or delivered to a cabin. If it is in the dining room contact the head Maitre' D and if its in the cabin contact Guest Relations to work on planning this.

This should help get you in the right direction. This may be harder to do if its say the 2nd day onboard compared to later in the cruise. So start planning as soon as you get onboard. You can also use your travel agent to plan any group events NOW compared to later. For example, You could get a private room and have a group breakfast party. Maybe meet for breakfast and then go to to the private room (you can decorate that also) and then have a BIG sheet birthday cake, assorted fruit or Mimosa's. This way the whole group can celebrate and she would be really suprised.

This normally doesn't cost anything for using the room but, does for extras like cake and drinks... but, its priced very reasonable.
