hi, I plan to go on the century march or april 2005. My daughter's birthday lands on the first formal night on the cruise. She will be turning 15. I plan to let her get her hair done on the ship. Are there any special arrangements I can make for her? Please let me know. Thank you.

I don't think you can book ahead of the cruise. but you can do that right away after you board. Just get onto the staff in the salon asap. Phone or attend,

And just wait until you hear them sing "Hoppy Birshdah toe yo" at dinner. It is a classic! Sung in about 20 different dialects at once.

Definitely let the maitre de know that you've got a birthday at your table. I always think it sounds like "Hoppy birsday to yu." Another good idea is to schedule an appointment for a formal birthday portrait with the ship's photographers. You'll get a nicer picture than most candid shots and it will be a lovely memory. As with the beautician's appointment, schedule shortly after boarding and you should be fine. : wave
