We've had a bad cabin location on the Grand Princess, but it didn't ruin the cruise. I have tried to look at each cabin assignment over the years with an eye to discos, public areas, food prep areas, theaters, etc., and only failed twice (once over the main showroom--late night show "live and direct," and once under the lido bar-with a night of line dancing lasting until 2:00 am on our heads!). While the location of your cabins horizontally were the best on the ship, I will have to say you suffered vertically! Better luck next time!
