When you book a cruise, Is it the ship or the places it stops at. or
a little of both.
I book mostly because of the ship. the ports are secondary, I love being on the ship,
i would be perfectly happy if i went on a cruise with no stops. I rarely get off at
port.
Whats your opinion .

This sort of ties into last nights question since I go on a cruise for the ship itself. Now as long as we are heading to some nice warm caribbean destination, I really don't care what islands they are as long as the ship is nice and I have a lot of sea days to spend while on the ship. Of course I also think price is an important factor.

Re: Booking a cruise

Give me blue skies, warm weather and calm seas. Add a good ship. compatable ship-mates and who cares where you are sailing to.

I used to book based on the area the ships was going (though not the particular ports). However, now that I have been to most (though not all) of the standard Caribbean and Mexican Riviera ports, I now tend to pick ships that I have not been on. However, I also try to fit in a port or two that I have not been to yet.
